Vincent Kompany puts Sander Berge in spotlight ahead of Sheffield United

Sander Berge, the 25-year-old Norway international, transitioned from Sheffield United to Burnley in August, marking a move from one promoted club to another.

It would be typical Sheffield United fashion if the Norwegian midfielder put in a man of the match performance on Saturday and was involved in the winning goal.

But United’s new midfielders, Vinicius Souza and Gustavo Hamer, should be eager to prove a point against the former Blade. That midfield battle could prove to be the most significant battle of them all, and whichever side gets the edge in the middle of the park should be the dominant force.
