Alabama RB coach visits Tide explosive 4-Star RB commit
Gary Cosby Jr.-Tuscaloosa News / USA TODAY NETWORK

Alabama football’s running back coach, Robert Gillespie stopped by Carver Montgomery High School Thursday to check in on Anthony Rogers.

Rogers is a 2025 four-star running back recruit, who is committed to Alabama. He is currently one of the Crimson Tide’s longest standing commitments with him jumping on board before Nick Saban retired.

The four-star told Touchdown Alabama last month he was still locked in with the Tide.

“I’m still committed to Alabama,” Rogers said. “I got a good relationship with coach G (Robert Gillespie). I am just getting to meet the new coaches.”

Alabama got Rogers back on campus for an unofficial visit on A-Day, and he expressed he liked what he saw from the Tide’s rushing attack during their spring game.

The Alabama commit plans to take official visits to Alabama, Auburn and Georgia in the future. Both the Tigers and the Bulldogs have been consistent in their push for the back.
